Candidate Pledges and Surveys

Thanks to our volunteers, we've reached out to hundreds of candidates from all the major parties to invite them to take our pledge, and fill out a survey to share more about their core policies impacting our community.

Here, you can find the names, parties, and ridings of the candidates who have taken our pledge to uphold our core policy asks.

All pledged candidates will appear below, listed in order by riding name [note: while we have worked to update the riding information to reflect the recent changes in riding names and boundaries, in some cases, old riding names are still used in this data].

  3. If elected as a Member of Parliament, will you support the continuation of federal funding programs to build capacity and strengthen the services of local 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations across Canada?
  4. If elected as a Member of Parliament, will you advocate to maintain and strengthen Canada’s long-standing role as a global champion of human rights for queer and trans communities?
  1. Why should 2SLGBTQIA+ people, families and allies in your riding vote for you in the 2025 federal election?
  2. The rising cost of living disproportionately impacts 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, who face economic and employment discrimination. How will you support 2SLGBTQIA+ people in the face of rising costs?

  4. Local 2SLGBTQIA+ non-profit organizations and charities provide critical and life-savings services to queer and trans people, families and community members, ranging from housing support, mental health services, community development, peer interventions and more.
