Canada’s federal election is happening against the backdrop of global turmoil and backlash.
Hatred and bigotry are on the rise, led by cynical politicians who think that our community can
be a useful wedge issue. They think they can benefit from division and chaos, just like Trump
has in the US.
It’s our mission to prove them wrong. It’s our work to unite Canadians behind freedom, equality,
and human rights for all - and to ensure we all vote accordingly.
To do that, we’re using proven tactics of direct voter outreach to spread our message and
activate voters, especially voters who likely agree with us but may not be motivated to vote on
their own. Remember: the single biggest block of swing voters is not swinging between different
parties, but between voter and non-voter.
The tactics described below are the primary methods for us to do just that. This guide will equip
you to take part in one or more of these tactics; we’ve done our best to include a variety of ways
for people to be part of the campaign, to suit different preferences and skills.
While these tactics are focused on regular “days of action” that we will coordinate, each has
also been designed so that you can take action independently if you so choose.
